Chapter 11
12 The people said to Samuel, Who is he who said, Shall Saul reign over us? bring the men, that we may put them to death.
13 Saul said, There shall not a man be put to death this day; for today Yahweh has worked deliverance in Israel.
14 Then said Samuel to the people, Come, and let us go to Gilgal, and renew the kingdom there.
15 All the people went to Gilgal; and there they made Saul king before Yahweh in Gilgal; and there they offered sacrifices of peace-offerings before Yahweh; and there Saul and all the men of Israel rejoiced greatly.

Chapter 11
1 Then all Israel gathered themselves to David to Hebron, saying, Behold, we are your bone and your flesh.
2 In times past, even when Saul was king, it was you who led out and brought in Israel: and Yahweh your God said to you, You shall be shepherd of my people Israel, and you shall be prince over my people Israel.
3 So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and David made a covenant with them in Hebron before Yahweh; and they anointed David king over Israel, according to the word of Yahweh by Samuel.

Chapter 29

24 All the princes, and the mighty men, and all the sons likewise of king David, submitted themselves to Solomon the king.
25 Yahweh magnified Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel, and bestowed on him such royal majesty as had not been on any king before him in Israel.
